Sweet Dreams
Out of darkness comes the night
Quietly leaving stars so bright
Peace engulfs the last of day
Sweeping cares and worries away
Wrap yourself into your mind
Let your body mold to clay
I will keep you in the moonlight
Your Guarding Spirit
Dream away…

I have had nightmares most of my life and this poem was written to help express the desire to be protected while I sleep.
