To know it’s all darkness now
There will be no sunshine come the new day
The waves of warmth that once was
Is gone now, replaced with cold certainty
There is a loneliness in such knowledge
There is no comfort in being no where
Or perhaps knowing that you were here before
And returning to this horrid place, this same empty space
Where a heart beats alone… voor altijd.
